Meet the Founder, Shar’da Brooks, FNP-C
With over a decade of experience in healthcare, Shar’da Brooks founded My Body. My Temple out of a passion to bridge the knowledge gap in women’s midlife care. While working in primary care, she noticed a recurring pattern, women struggling with fatigue, weight gain, hot flashes, and emotional changes were often dismissed or misdirected because their providers lacked the training or confidence to manage menopause and hormone-related concerns.
Shar’da recognized that women deserve more than surface-level solutions and basic lab work. True healing requires understanding the entire hormonal ecosystem and their connection to the gut microbiome and metabolic health.
